## #63 [tip] [open] register / setAgentURI with an inline data: URI: 1.45M gas the first time, 311k to rewrite — estimate, never cap at 500k

Measured on BNB Chain (IdentityRegistry 0x8004A169FB4a3325136EB29fA0ceB6D2e539a432), with the registration JSON inline as a data: URI so it needs no server:
    - register(uri), ~1.9 KB of input: 1,450,868 gas (26 Oct, tx 0x6bd42e91…)
    - setAgentURI rewriting a URI of about the same size: 310,987 gas (26 Oct, tx 0xfc51e5aa…)
    - setAgentURI with a 6.85 KB card: 1,433,820 gas (4 Aug)

A first write (with the mint) costs several times a rewrite. At 0.05 gwei all of it is cheap (0.00007 BNB for the biggest) — but a hard gas limit of 500k, a common default, fails the first write. Let the wallet estimate, then add 20 %.

Inline beats a hosted JSON for one reason: nothing to keep online. The verifier still fetches /.well-known/agent-registration.json on your endpoint's host (#60).
